Pinewood Derby! March 13, 2013

The race is on!  We inherited a really old school wooden track.  A few screws and a little wood shaving and we were in business.

 The winnahs!  Kai won fastest time and Koa won fastest combined time.  Both pretty stoked to be moving on to the district derby.

We had Dutch Baby pancakes with fire on top!

 The girls eat them proper, with yogurt on top.  The blueberry syrup is a Maine addition.

8 Year Old Boys! March 3, 2013

Yes, they used the sleep on the floor in Mommy and Daddy's room card for their birthday.  It is always fun to see them as soon as they wake up on their birthday though...

 They opened birthday cards and presents in bed.

We love them and we are so glad they came to stay 8 short years ago!

Sister Girls Feeling the Love-February 14, 2013

We all felt the love, we had an epic Valentine's Day.

The Great Valentine's Cake of 2013

Three heart shaped cakes were made and then cut into layers...

 There was a vanilla, a chocolate and a red velvet...

 There were plenty of layers for everyone to have a chance with the frosting...

 Nutella flavored, raspberry flavored and vanilla flavored...

 14 layers later..

Kai decided that the top needed some Valentine's candy.

 Koa and Bo decided more would be better!
